Coming Up in Assumption Parish and around town...

04

Many of us are struggling right now. But we don't have to endure this alone. God sees our fear & anxiety, knows our deepest struggles, and is right here suffering through it all with us, leading us to the promised Resurrection. Though we cannot pray face-to-face, our Prayer Team ministry is still ACTIVE & ready to pray for and with you! Just drop an email to:

AssumptionPrayerTeams@gmail.com

Include: 1) Your name, 2) Your prayer request, 3) Your phone number, and 4) the best day/time to reach you by phone.

A Prayer Team member will contact you to pray with you over the phone. Or, if you'd rather not receive a phone call, simply provide your name & request and the Prayer Team will pray for you!

Mercy Angel Drivers
Have an older loved one needing help getting prescriptions and such delivered? Have a college student who is looking fir a way to volunteer to help with the covid crisis? Parishioner, Kaitlyn Reynolds, a pre-medical student home from college (Georgetown University in Washington, DC) due to the COVID-19 outbreak, has started a project called Mercy Angel Drivers!

It's a volunteer group of college students who pick-up & deliver prescriptions for senior citizens, who can't leave their homes due to covid. Mercy Angel Drivers is in need of more volunteer drivers between the ages of 17 and 25. Feel free to share this, and check their website to learn more.
