There are many opportunities to support those in need this Christmas season. Here are some of the ways you can help at Assumption.
No Hunger Holiday Drive: The O'Fallon Knight of Columbus #2269 will be collecting frozen turkeys from 7:30AM-12PM, on Sunday, Nov. 22 in the lower Knights Hall parking lot for the annual Cottleville Knights of Columbus holiday program. Last year, Assumption parishioners donated hundreds of pounds of turkeys. This year, the need is especially great and will help provide Thanksgiving dinners to those in need in our community. Contact Matt Schwarz at Knightshelp2269@gmail.com for more information.
Giving Tree Gifts Due Dec. 6: There are more Giving Tree tags on the trees in the Church Narthex. Please grab one on your way into Church, and don't forget to return the tags and wrapped gifts to the downstairs tree in the Parish Center, prior to noon Mass on Sunday, Dec. 6. Contact Georgia McCleish, 717-919-7312 or Linda DeLaquil, 636-248-6385 for more information.
