Holiday Weekend Happenings and Things to Remember

As we celebrate 250 years of American history this holiday weekend, please keep these things in mind when heading up to Assumption on July 3 and 4.

Parish Office Closed: On Friday, July 3 in observance of Independence Day.

Morning Mass and Main Street Parade Closure: On Saturday, July 4, there is only one morning Mass at 8AM in the Chapel. If you are able to join us, please keep in mind that there will be restrictions on Main Street beginning at 8:30AM, as the City of O’Fallon prepares for the Heritage and Freedom Fest Parade. After Mass, parishioners will be directed by O'Fallon Police to go north on Main Street to Tom Ginnever. Our regular Saturday Vigil Mass at 5PM will happen as planned and celebrated in the Church. Come Pray with us!

Knights 4th of July Parade Float: Anyone interested in being a part of the O'Fallon Knights of Columbus #2269 parade float should meet at parade spot 59 on Civic Park Drive by 9AM. Many hands are needed to assist with handing out wristbands, stickers, and bottled water while walking in the parade. After the parade, parishioners will be dropped off at Assumption to carpool back to our meeting spot. Got questions? Contact Bill Bequette at knightshelp2269@gmail.com.

Be safe and have a blessed Independence Day.
