There's a lot happeing at Assumption during the 4th of July weekend on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4. Please keep these things in mind if you are planning visit the Parish Office, attend Mass, and enjoy the O'Fallon Heritage Freedom Fest Parade.
Morning Mass and Main Street Parade Closure: On Saturday, July 4th, there is only one morning Mass at 8AM in the Chapel. If you are able to join us, please keep in mind that there may be restrictions on Main Street, as the City of O’Fallon prepares for the Heritage and Freedom Fest Parade that begins at 9:30AM on Independence Day. Our regular Saturday Vigil Mass at 5PM will happen as planned and celebrated in the Church. Come Pray with us!
Knights 4th of July Parade Float: The O'Fallon Knights of Columbus #2269 is once again putting together a float for the parade, and everyone is invited to join in the fun! If you are interested in participating, please contact Bill Bequette at knightshelp2269@gmail.com. The Knights especially want to invite active military, veterans and first responders to ride on the float, and need parish volunteers to hand out giveaways and water. Bottled water donations are still needed and can be dropped off at the O’Fallon Knights of Columbus Hall on W. Third Street before July 2.
Be safe and have a blessed Independence Day.
