Is God calling you to serve as a member of the Assumption Parish Council? If so, please consider nominating yourself or someone else by filling out the nomination form below and returning it to the Parish Office or the church collection basket, or you can email Father Nick Kastenholz at nicholaskastenholz@archstl.org. We need nominations for parishioners to serve on our Parish Council over the next three years. The Parish Council is comprised of 12 people who serve three-year terms each, requiring four new people each year. The Parish Council assists the pastor in fostering pastoral activity; they provide communications with the parish commissions and other committees, as well as providing consultative advice at monthly parish council meetings.

Once we have received our nominations, the nominees will be contacted and we will have an evening where the nominees can find out more specifically about what is involved as a Parish Council member to help them discern if this is appropriate for them. New council members will be drawn from those accepting their nomination at Mass. If you have any additional questions, please contact Fr. Nick or any of our current Parish Council members.
