July 9/10 is St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry weekend!

As expected with gas and food price increases, we have seen food requests increase from Assumption Parish's neighbors in need. The pantry is running low on the following items: Food items: Small boxes of white rice, boxed mashed potatoes, Rice-A-Roni, Suddenly Salad, Chicken Helper, Tuna Helper, Hamburger Helper, all canned fruits, jelly, pancake mix and syrup, other breakfast items (Pop Tarts, breakfast bars), canned pasta (Ravioli, Spaghettio's, etc), all crackers (Saltines, Graham, Club, any snack cracker, etc), canned hams, beef stews, Sloppy Joe's, Spam, chicken 'n dumplings, etc. (PLEASE CHECK EXPIRATION DATES BEFORE DONATION) Non-food items: Shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, laundry detergent, paper towels, liquid dish soap, and toilet paper. Grocery store or gas station gift cards are ALWAYS appreciated!
