What is #iGiveCatholic - November 30, 2021
We are excited to announce that Assumption Parish is participating in #iGiveCatholic on #GivingTuesday, our nation’s first-ever Catholic day of giving! This year it will be Nov. 30 from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM. If that date does not work, there is an Advanced Giving Day phase for donations beginning at 12:00 AM on Monday, November 16, running through November 30 at 11:59 PM.
Your generous support makes a meaningful difference to our core mission, education, and spiritual formation. Assumption Parish is changing lives every day through our many ministries.
On Nov. 30 (#iGiveCatholic Giving Day), your Donation gift will help us receive extra funds for our work in our community. There is more information to coming soon!
After Thanksgiving, we are aware of Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Giving Tuesday. Did you know there is a Catholic extension of Giving Tuesday (11/30/21)? Assumption Parish is excitied to participate this year! Here is a message to our priests and parishes from Archbishop Rozanski and Brian Niebrugge:
O Lord, giver of life, we know that all we are, and all we have are gifts from You. We live in a world that celebrates consumption. But You call us to be good stewards of all You have entrusted to us. May this #GivingTuesday prompt us to gratitude and generosity, that brings nourishment to the hungry and hope to the hopeless. We pray that #iGiveCatholic may be a miracle of loaves and fishes, where every gift shared lovingly from a grateful heart becomes bread for the multitudes, and the ordinary becomes extraordinary. In this giving and receiving, may our hearts rejoice in You alone, who are Lord for ever and ever. Amen
