Women of the parish! Set aside the hustle and bustle of the holidays, and focus your minds and hearts on the birth of Christ, as we kick off the season of advent with our Advent by Candlelight celebration, Sunday, November 30 in the Parish Center. All adult women are invited to join us from 6:30-9pm for a beautiful evening of fellowship, music, and prayer, as we focus on “Advent Joy.” This year's guest speaker is Sister Carol Schumer, D.C., spiritual formation leader with the Ladies of Charity of the St. Louis Archdiocese; monthly reflections contributor for The God Minute podcast; and Assistant Spiritual Advisor on many Cursillo weekends. Musical worship led by Elizabeth Smith, Becca Perhacs, and Bonnie Lang. If you’ve never attended this annual event, you won't want to miss it!

As a hostess of the table, you are in charge of your table. The food and drink can be whatever you make of it! Some hostesses set up the table and bring all the food and drink to share with their eight (8) guests; however, the majority of hostesses ask everyone to bring a dish, appetizer and or dessert to share for the evening. Wine and other drinks are also shared at the table.

Setup can be as simple as a plastic tablecloth and disposable utensils on your round table, to beautiful dinnerware and glass. Everyone brings a centerpiece and many with lights. There is no wrong way to set up your table, unless of course, your centerpiece is too high and no one can see around it. We also ask that everyone at your table donate $10 for our cause this year. After you register, a hostess letter will be emailed to you with more information about setup dates and times.
