Hippity-Hoppin' all the way... the Easter Bunny Arrives Palm Sunday

The eighth Annual Easter Egg Hunt is back, Palm Sunday, April 13, at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, 403 North Main Street in O’Fallon! Children ages 12 and under and their parents are invited to join us for the 8 a.m., 10 a.m. or noon Mass, and then head to the upper soccer field to meet the Easter Bunny and hunt for hidden eggs. The Assumption Men’s Group sponsors the free, age-appropriate hunts with lots of fun and prizes.

Children attending should bring a basket and be prepared to have a good time while searching for candy- and toy-filled eggs. Hunters who find a golden egg or ticket in the egg get a special prize. The Easter Bunny will be available for family photos throughout the event. There will be donuts available at the 8 a.m. hunt, and grilled hot dogs, soda and water for sale at the 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. hunts. Donations are welcome and all proceeds collected help fund the Assumption School new Early Childhood playground.
