Is God calling you to serve as a member of the Assumption Parish Council? If so, please consider nominating yourself or someone else. You can do that by emailing Father Nick at nicholaskastenholz@archstl.org or by filling out the nomination form, and then returning it to the Parish Office or the church collection basket.

We need nominations for parishioners to serve on our Parish Council over the next three years. The Parish Council is comprised of 12 people who serve three-year terms each, requiring four new people each year. The Parish Council assists the pastor in fostering pastoral activity; they provide communications with the parish commissions and other committees as well as providing consultative advice at monthly parish council meetings.

Once we have received our nominations, the nominees will be contacted and invited to an evening meeting to learn what it means to be involved as a Parish Council member, which should help nominees discern if this is appropriate for them. New council members will be drawn from those accepting the nomination. If you have any additional questions, please contact Fr. Nick or any of our current Parish Council members.
