The annual Life Teen Calendar Big Board Fundraiser continues this weekend, Sept. 16-17, and next weekend, Sept. 23-24 before and after each Mass. The fundraiser works like this: each day of the calendar year has a dollar amount associated with it. January 1 is $1, all the way down to December 31 which is $365. You choose which days of the year are sacred to you (birthdays, wedding anniversaries, dates a loved one passed away, etc) and donate the corresponding amount for that day. On that day, the Life Teen Core Team and Staff pray for your prayer intentions, carrying them with us throughout the day. Your partnering with us for your sacred days makes it possible for us to continue to serve our teens on some of our most sacred days–our retreats. The funds raised go toward keeping our retreat fees as low as possible and scholarships for teens to attend retreats who do not have the financial means to do so. Your support makes it possible for us to continue to lead teens closer to Christ through our parish ministry at Assumption. We can’t wait to see you and hear about your sacred days!
