Star of Bethlehem Shines at 6 p.m. Christmas Vigil Mass

With the help of Assumption School students, the beautiful Star of Bethlehem will be making its debut at the 6 p.m. Christmas Vigil Mass, Saturday, Dec. 24, at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish. The star, which symbolizes the light of hope and salvation in the midst of darkness, will be part of the opening procession and will be ushered into church by the following students, (from left to right) Brody Boss, Colton Menne, David Smith, Ethan Heiss, Emma Menne, Abigail Heiss, (not pictured) Bella Boss, Ethan Koenig, Adam Lutostanski and Nora Menne. In addition, Assumption student Maria Koenig will be proclaiming the Christmas story.
