Annual Catholic Appeals

As we continue to experience the ongoing impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in our archdiocese, the evangelist reminds us today that every hair on our head is counted, that no sparrow falls without God recognizing the loss. St. Matthew proclaims: Do not be afraid! Speak it in the light! Shout it from the rooftops! St. Paul too encourages us to remember that we have in Jesus Christ a most gracious gift that overflows among us. This gift is abundant and sufficient, freely given and lovingly shared. It is not always easy or convenient to proclaim our faith, find hope, and be charitable. It is sometimes difficult to see the answer, to know what to choose or which way to turn. It is at these times that God is calling us to a deeper commitment, a see a more satisfying solution to our daily cares and overwhelming concerns. It is also a moment when we can help others regardless of our own present situation. As disciples we are called to let God’s grace overflow through us.

OUR 2020 CHALLENGE GOAL IS $185,320

The Annual Catholic Appeal continues this weekend with an invitation to make a gift that will help many who have been impacted by the Covid-19 outbreak in our archdiocese. Unafraid, we make sacrifices for others, not because they are Catholic, but because We Are Catholic!
