ALL SOULS DAY – Tuesday, November 2nd
All Soul's Day is a Roman Catholic day of remembrance for friends and loved ones who have passed away. All Saints’ Day, together with All Souls’ Day is known collectively as Hallow tide. All Souls’ Day remembers all those who have died, not just the great and the good, but the ordinary person on the street. At the 7pm Mass on November 2nd we will bring forward our Book of Remembrance to honor your family and friends who have gone before us. As part of a conclusion, we will process to the cemetery after the closing prayer. As part of our procession this year, we will have luminaries to light our way.
Book of Remembrance
As the month of November approaches, please know that we will be praying in a special way for all of our loved ones who have died. There are sheets of paper at the doors on which we encourage you to write the names of family members and friends who have died. These sheets will be collected into our Book of Remembrance, and brought forward at Mass on All Souls Day, Tuesday, November 2nd so that we may pray for them with devotion, & remember them with love.
