Is God calling you to serve as as a member of the Assumption Parish Council? If so, please consider nominating yourself or someone else. It's easy! Just email Father Nick Kastenholz at nicholaskastenholz@archstl.org or fill out the nomination form below or in the bulletin, and return it to the Parish Office or church collection basket as soon as you can. We are currently seeking nominations for parishioners to serve on our Parish Council over the next three years.

The Parish Council is comprised of 12 people who serve three-year terms each, requiring four new people each year. The Parish Council assists the pastor in fostering pastoral activity; they provide communications with the parish commissions and other committees as well as providing consultative advice at monthly parish council meetings.

Once we have received the nominations, the nominees will be contacted and invited to find out more about what is involved as a Parish Council member. This will help them discern if this is an appropriate role for them. The new council members will be randomly drawn from the names of those who have graciously accept their nominations.
