On April 6th, at 7:00pm, The Sisters of the Most Precious Blood will host an evening of prayer and discussion in their St. Joseph Chapel (in the Motherhouse) as part of the upcoming Taizé Pilgrimage of Trust sponsored by the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
The evening is part of an ongoing series initiated by Archbishop Carlson to help bring our community together and engage in important dialogues.
The evening will consist of 45 minutes of prayer and music in their Chapel followed by 45 minutes of discussion in the dining room area. You are an important part of this evening!
The Pilgrimage of Trust is an event that is meant to bring together people of various backgrounds, whether that be socio-economic, racial, faith, or more. The brothers of Taizé have been invited to help heal many of the obvious divisions that exist across our St. Louis community. The brothers of Taizé have a unique charism of ecumenism and reconciliation that promotes an authentic encounter of the other, especially those who are different. It is this charism which we hope to incorporate into the weekend pilgrimage and the preparation events leading up to it.
